What you can do
The San Vicinio route is the closest among the itineraries that the Savio Valley can offer. It rises among the flourishing Romagna hills from which we are surrounded, and offers breathtaking landscapes.
A short distance away you can find lakes of various sizes, with typical restaurants nearby, characteristic waterfalls and refreshing rivers for summer days. A few kilometers away is the well-known spa town of Bagno di Romagna, with an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, suitable for all seasons.
You’ll have plenty of choices among hiking, biking, exploring new towns and relaxing activities. Without forgetting the typical Romagna cuisine: delicious and abundant food.
Typical products such as porcini mushrooms, truffles and pasta dishes based on meat or vegetables are just some of the specialties that you can taste in this area. In San Piero in Bagno there’s a renowned Michelin-star restaurant and in the surrounding area you’ll find a variety of taverns, restaurants or pizzerias. Furthermore, some of the local restaurants have signed an agreement with us, granting a discount to our guests who dine there.

Sarsina: city of art and culture
It’s the city that gave birth to Tito Maccio Plauto: the most dominant playwright at the origin of Latin literature, the “father” of Western comedy. During the month of August you can also participate in the Plautus Festival in his honor, which attracts famous national actors among the performers and audiences from all over Italy.
The thousand-year-old Cathedral of Sarsina, in the center of the large square, also preserves the remains of San Vicinio, its patron and first Bishop, with his thaumaturgical “chain” (a local feast is held in his honor on August 28th).
